The
Bindra Motors (P) Ltd. was founded in the Year 1921 by
Shri L.S.Bindra at Lahore.
After few years, the company became one of the leading
Importers of Automobile Parts in India.
Shri Late L.S.Bindra, started business career with certain
principles such as:-
- To
source and market quality Auto Parts to the traders
and users.
- To
always try to upgrade the products with latest technology
for the benefit fo the users.
- To
maintain reasonable profit of margin through fair
dealing.
- To
gain confidence of the customer through quality products
and better services.
- To
think of a customer as an extended arm and part of
the organisation.
In
the year 1960, the Company took up the distributorship
of Mahindra Sintered Products Ltd. belonging to Mahindra
& Mahindra Ltd., largest manufacturer of Sintered
Bushes and components in the world. The Company is in
collaboration with G.K.N.-U.K.
In
the year 1965, the company became the distributor's of
Dr.
Beck & Co. (India) Ltd. leaders in Insulating Varnish
& Epoxy Resins in India. Now a part of Schenectady
group of Companies U.S.A. A
few years back the Company became the distributor of Commutators
manufactured by M/S Sahney Commutators (P) Ltd. known
for their quality throughout India. The Company is in
collaboration with Kirkwood Ltd. U.S.A.
The
above products are successfully marketed by the Company
in North India and won laurels year after year since
1961.
In
the year 1996, the Company ventured into Exports of
Auto Parts and in very short period have established
a very strong base in the Export field in few countries.
To
give a strong backup, the Company started an Export
oriented manufacturing unit for Auto Electrical components,
under the trade name of "DART". These Auto Electrical
Parts are of International standard and are being well
accepted in the International market.
To
maintain and improve the quality and working, the Company
has also applied for ISO-9002 and hope to get the certification
soon.
